bind SOCKET, ADDRESS


Definition and Usage

Binds the network ADDRESS to the filehandle identified by SOCKET. The ADDRESS should be a packed address of the appropriate type for the socket being opened.

Return Value

  • 0 on failure
  • 1 on success
